Arm Markings: Black Henna. 6 hours to draw on. Left on skin 2 - 5 hrs. Done the day before the convention. Stencils done by me. Henna drawn on by my bf (rammicr) Ordered online from Hawaii. ~90 small tattoos worth of Henna.

Materials - Moleskin fabric, Upholstery Suede, nylon lining, buttons, lamp trim, Leather Stripping, various beads, Feathers, Faux Fur, Model Magic, coat hanger, fabric paint, spray paint, snaps, yarn, elastic, gromets, craft pins, hair snaps, cosworx wig, ripped apart sandals, stick pin tacks, flat glass marbles and wonderflex.

Starting out, I told myself that I would pick my favorite armor from the game and make it. So, I scanned through the Altana Viewer and found this. I'll admit that the arm markings are what originally caught my eye. I researched the armor a bit and found it to be lv 73 Black Mage. Something I doubt i'll achieve in the game >.< heh Oh, my main motivation for making this costume was my trip to Anime expo this year and the industry prize in the Masquerade there. Square Enix was offering a custom FFXI PC for the best FFXI costume.

Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with this costume and the trip to California was wonderfull. Oh, my BF and I did win the computer. His account here is rammicr. We performed a 2 minute skit. Much fun. ^_^
